hello all,
I am continuosly getting an error ORA-12500 TNS Cannot start the dedicated server process on sun solaris - oracle 8.1.5 ... the moment database is started first connection is fine, From next connection onwards i am getting this error .. I dont have much expertise on Solaris.. Can anyone let me know the problem ?

it is with the unix...
did u relink the listener?
