Ok,

When I have only one db, this db perfectly starts after rebooting the windows nt server. However, installing / creating a second db on the same server results in both db's not being automatically started.

I read a lot of information about this ora-01034 error. Please notice that i:

- checked all registry settings.
For each DB the ORA_sid_AUTOSTART=TRUE and the locations to the pfile's are correct
- Am able to start a db manual by using svrgrml, connect internal/oracle, startup.

The only question i have is how to start multiple db's automatically on a winnt server. Anyone any suggestions / tips ?

T.i.a.

Leonard

goto control panel / services and change the properties of the concerned instances and listeners to
autostart.
if there is no such service,
create a new one using ORADIM
