Hello,

I've Oracle 8.1.7 installed on one of our servers and am not sure whether its 8.1.7 Standard or 8.1.7 Enterprise edition.

any way to confirm this.

Please help ASAP.

Simple open SQL*PLus, svrmgrl and look at the banner. eg.

------------------------------------
Connected to:
Oracle8i Enterprise Edition Release 8.1.7.4.0 - Production
With the Partitioning option
JServer Release 8.1.7.4.0 - Production

SQL>
------------------------------------

Enterprise edition does say so...
