hello,
i'm not that familiar with database but i'm developer ... a fellow of mine and me are trying to receive oracle-alerts in a java-application. so i used the waitone-function in a thread in my programm to get the alerts he's sending.
but i'm unable to receive the messages when he sends to much in a small amount of time ... let's say 200 per second ...
so what's my problem? what is influence by the timeout-parameter of the waitone-function?
