How to install oracle9iAS.is it shipped with the database software or we have to install
separately.when i try to run apache -k start from apache directory its giving error
pls hlp.

9ias is shipped seperately.
it is the application server.
You have to install the infrastructure first (OID, single sign-on , OMS etc).
then, optionally, u can go for discoverer / forms/ reports or portals / wireless or J2EE / webcache
