hello there...

I have installed oracle 9i on MAC OS X.

Then I create a database with characterset
WE8ISO8859P15

I use a Oracle 7 client on a MAC OS 9.2

Here's my config.ora

ORA_NLS32=PowerBox:System
Folder:Oracle7:NLS:NLSRTL3:Data
MAC_APP_TYPE=PPC
NLS_LANG=DUTCH_THE
NETHERLANDS.WE8MACROMAN8
MAC_CHECK_COMMAND_PERIOD=TRUE
MAC_ALLOW_APPLICATION_SWITCHING=TRUE
MAC_GIVE_BACKGROUND_APPS_TIME=TRUE
CONFIG_FILES=%ORACLE_HOME%Database:C
onfigFiles:
DEFAULT_CONFIG_FILE=Initial Database
DEFAULT_DBMGR_DB=2:
DEFAULT_USERNAME=mtdx
DEFAULT_PASSWORD=?:2<
DEFAULT_DATABASE=dvh2

When I want to login with SQL Plus, the application
hangs..
I can log in using a windows client 8.1.7

When I create a database with characterset
us7ascii, there is no problem.

Whe want to keep our oracle 7 clients on mac os
9.2

Can someone help me out here...

Thankxxx
