Hi,
I have an Oracle 7.3.2.2 database running on SCO Unix 5.5 and the problem is that the listener hungs almost every day. This happends more often since new applications are running and the number of users grow.
To solve the problem i must kill the listener process and start it again with listener control.
Anybody knows if itīs a OS or Oracle problem? What can be done to solve this problem?

turn off tracing.I think it is creating more trace files .
you can do that in following way
log_leveL_lstrnm=0
trace_level_lstrnm=0
hope it will work
