I currently have an environment with two application servers connecting to a database server, all running Windows 2000 Advanced Server. The two application servers have the Oracle Client installed and connect to the database server using OLE DB. I am installing the latest PatchSet and need to know if it needs to be installed on the clientside as well as the database side. I noticed in the patchset release notes that there are a couple of updates for OLE DB and Oracle Services for Microsoft Transaction Server, which makes me wonder if I should run the PatchSet on the client side. Can anyone help me?
