I assume you mean solaris 8.
For Solaris 8 on x86:
[*]All verrsions of Oracle 7 are desupported.
[*]All versions of Oracle 8 are desupported (There is extended maintenance support for the latest patchset and existing installations though).
[*]For Oracle8i, Only 8.1.7 is certified. Versions 8.1.5 and 8.1.6 are desupported.
[*]Oracle9i is not supported.
[*]Oracle10g is projected.

For Solaris 8 on SPARC:
[*]All versions of Oracle7 are desupported.
[*]All versions of Oracle 8 are desupported (There is extended maintenance support for the latest patchset and existing installations though).
[*]For Oracle 8i, Only release 8.1.7 is supported. Earlier releases are desupported.
[*]Oracle 9.0.1 and 9.2 are supported.
[*]Oracle 10g is projected.
