I have designed a tree in forms 6i at the runtime the tree node selected by me should be different from the other nodes i.e..(the color or font of the node should be changed),if i give set item property for the tree item the whole color or font of the tree is being changed .Can you plese help me out to find a solution for the above mentioned process.

Try set_item_instance_property.
