I have created a bean item and set the property- "no. of records displayed" as 5 during design time and also mapping this item to one of the table field. Now i want this to be scrollable at runtime depends on the table records count. but it is not happening for me.
Is it possible to scroll the bean item when more records present in the table or is it a limitation of Forms.

Please confirm, "There are 10 records in the database and you want the five entries on the screen to scroll automatically at some predetermined rate through these 10 records, with the last entry to be followed by the first entry in a continuous loop."

David,
Out of 10 records only the first five are displayed but the bean item itself is not scrolling and it is fixed.

Actually, i am having 3 items and one of them is Bean item, when i give execute query, it should display all the records of the table.... But only for the bean item, it is not displaying all the records and other 2 items are displayed all records when i scrolled the scroll bar.
So, is it possible to scroll the Bean item.

Waiting for your reply..

Thanks.
Stella

Okay ... you have 10 records in one table in your database ... you have a block in your form based on this table ... you have 'Records Displayed' on this block set to 5.

The bean information comes directly from the table.

When you perform the execute query the non-bean data fields are displayed correctly, each in their own record, but the bean on each line is always the same. Is this correct?

Do you have a post-query trigger on this block?

I haven't written any Post-Query trigger.
What has to be given in that trigger?

Stella.
