Hi all,
I'm upgrading a custom form from apps 10.7 and forms 4.5 to apps 11i and forms 6i.

some times it is working fine. but some times i'm not able to navigate to other item/ record using mouse.
if i click in any other item/record the cursor is coming back to the previos item though the keyboard navigation works fine.

could anyone tell me the reason and fix for that.

thanx in adv

There is a new item attribute called MOUSE_NAVIGATE as well as the previous NAVIGABLE. It is possible that during the conversion the MOUSE_NAVIGATE was left at 'off'.

So you don't know when the error occurs, but you do know you never got a message during an execute-query...
It took us a long long time before we made the connection between the error-message and the resulting loss of mouse-functionality.

That's patchset 15. It should have been fixed by then.

Okay ... have you recompiled ALL your PLLs with this new version of Forms?

Have you done a Ctrl-Shft-K to compile your form before doing the Ctrl-T to generate? If not, ALWAYS do a Ctrl-Shft-K now that you are working with Forms greater than 4.5

Yes Frank,
you are right. I'm not getting any error message.
some times if i click in some other item it is going.
but some times it is in current item only.
then onwards if i open any other form also it is behaving same as this form.

i mean the other forms are working fine before opening this specific form. once i open this form and if i got this problem afterwards the same problem remains for all the forms.
